Usually I don’t write online reviews, but in this case, I will make an exception as the work of the 1-888-Heat-Pumps company was excellent. They installed a mini split heat pump in my older home in an upstairs bedroom. Andrei, as the Installer, answered all my questions taking great care in the placement of the indoor and outdoor units. The work crew, Drake and Jaxon, were on time, respectful, cleaned their work areas, and very efficient completing my project on the early side. I highly recommend them, have recommended them to a friend of mine, and intend to call on them again when I am ready to replace my gas furnace. I am pleased to write this review to help them grow their company.

Yellow Jacket did an excellent job in the installation of my minisplit heat pump. All the various personnel were competent and very easy to deal with. The installation work was efficient and precise. A couple things that stood out were the direct path they provided with regard to rebate info. (not so with another contractor I contacted) . And they also include surge protection for the electrical components on the outdoor unit--paying attention to all the details.

Can't speak highly enough about the team! We had a fantastic experience with them installing two ductless mini split units. The consultation was very thorough, with Andrei taking the time to answer our numerous questions and walk through the pros/cons of ducted vs ductless. Proposal was very competitively priced, clearly explained and included 1-888 handling multiple incentives on our behalf. Owen, Drake and Mike did a stellar install job, consulting us on all aesthetic decisions, showing up exactly on time every day and efficiently doing the work (no noise disruptions as we worked from home throughout the install). Post install, Andrei even helped us gather extra documentation to apply to an extra incentive we qualified for after full home electrification. Overall a joy to work with them and would highly recommend for your heat pump install!

They've installed two mini-split heat exchangers for us, and we couldn't be more pleased with their work. The team is friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. They're sensitive to aesthetic considerations and more than willing to accommodate preferences. When they leave for the day, whether the job will continue the next day or not, they leave no trace behind. They communicate their schedule in advance, and they use tracking software that announces when they're on their way and shows their progress on a map. They know state laws and city codes. Additionally, they know what clean energy rebates are available, and they handle the paperwork required for them. Plus, they're very responsive to emails and texts. It's lovely to have a cozy house. We give them our highest recommendation.
