We are a local, family-owned HVAC company (installing Heat Pumps only) based out of South Berkeley that has had great success this past year and are now looking to grow our in house installer crew! We are bonded & insured and extremely committed to high quality customer & installer service while giving back to our surrounding community. We specifically work with Fujitsu model Heat Pumps and Harvest Thermal systems. Job Description:
With Yellowjacket, you will be asked to be with us on jobs while Installing Heat Pump systems in the East Bay area (mainly Berkeley at the moment). We will do our best to slow everything down for you so we can teach you everything you need to learn to be more autonomous, better paid and successful.
General Responsibilities:
- Efficient and quality installations of our Fujitsu Heat Pump systems.
- Job site cleanliness and safety adherence.
- Customer service excellence.
- Participation in monthly skill development and training.
Compensation and Benefits:
Installer level 1: $20
Installer level 2: $22.50
Installer level 3: $25
Installer level 4: 27.50
Installer level 5: $30
Installer level 6: $35
Leadership Level 1: $40
Leadership Level 2: $45
Leadership Level 3: $50
Note on Pay: We want to pay you more and move you up the pay scale as quickly as you can learn and work hard. As you get more skills, you level up your pay. Getting to $25/hour from entry level should be very quick if you are a fast learner and great problem solver. We want to coach and teach you to become a lead heat pump installer!

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heat Pump (Lead) Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of efficiently installing heat pump systems on a daily basis, ensuring high-quality installations and customer satisfaction.
General Responsibilities:

- Job site cleanliness and safety adherence.
- Customer service excellence.
- Participation in monthly skill development and training.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $50/HR or more!
- Unlimited vacation.
- Paid lunches.
- Paid gas for transportation.
- Monthly installer celebration events (Battle of the Bay, Top Golf, Bowling, Camping, BBQs – Food and drinks on us!)
- We don’t work on weekends – but we offer a double down pay optional if working on Saturday.
